Join us for Financially Fluent: Practical Finance Basics

Money is something we all deal with every day, yet rarely talk about openly. Financial education is no longer optional, and as women, being financially literate and independent is crucial. This afternoon is for every woman who wants to make sense of her finances, minus the complicated jargon.

We'll start by getting clear on where your money goes and finish by setting your own personal financial actions and goals. Along the way, you'll have the chance to ask the questions you've always wondered about and connect with the women around you. Even if you already budget or have a simple investment account, there's plenty to take away.

We'll be joined by a financial advisor working in the Dutch government sector, who will take us through the essentials of becoming financially fluent, one session at a time. This first session focuses on understanding the money you already have: monthly and yearly budgeting, handling debt and a few simple financial rules to keep in mind. After a break for snacks and a chat, we'll turn to growing that money: the basics of investing, the different platforms and types, and how it all works in the Netherlands.

*Please note: We recommend bringing your laptop and an overview of your spending, so you can put everything you learn straight into practice. This is an educational event to guide your financial learning, not personal financial advice. Your financial information stays private unless you choose to share it, and you're never obligated to.
